First timer

Is it the first time you will try surfing? 
Start your absolute beginners surf lesson with El Ranchito in Guanico. 

​Our certified surf instructor (Lorenzo) will teach you the basics of surfing in the white foamy wave
where the water reaches max. to your chest. 
This way you get familiar and comfortable with the strength of the waves.
Meanwhile he will show you the techniques of the right pop-up and how to balance on the surfboard.
Within 3 days you will be able stand on your board for the very first time!

Progressive Beginner Program

Either you have already taken our absolute beginners lessons or have been some surfing experiences at the other school.
In this particular surf program we will take you out to the line up and try to get the real green waves.
We are going to teach you about the ocean knowledge: how to read the waves and how to choose the right wave.
With the support of Lorenzo you will develop your skills and catch as many waves as possible.

SURF PACKAGE

You are an absolute beginner or intermediate and you want to learn to surf or improve your surfing skills.
Pick out the surf package that fits to your travel agenda and to your needs.

We recommend minimum 1 week stay in order to establish a good base line for surfing in the beginning stage.
For more dedicated students longer stay will definitely help you better to progress your surfing skills.

Surf Lessons For Kids

​Surf lessons specially designed just for kids! 
Your Child will discover the ocean and surfing in a completely safe environment.
For older kids, they will discover their own limits and increase their confidence in the water.
This way we prepare them to be able to surf on their own.
Our main goal is making sure that your child will have lots of fun!
​Performance is a secondary objective. 

Our Surf Instructor, Lorenzo, is a certified instructor, approved by the french government (Beegs No.1).
He has 16 years of experience teaching kids at any age.
Furthermore, Lorenzo has already introduced surfing to all his three children at the age of 6 months.
We guarantee that your child will be in good hands.  

Meantime, while your child is exploring the ocean, you, as mother / father, can relax at our beach cafe.

Toddler (4-6 years)

 A special Program just for toddler. Discovering the ocean and the waves.
Additionally we are going to spend some extra time, before and after surf (approx. 20min) 
Surf lesson - 30min

Wave garden (7-11 years)

Your Child will be introduced to the basics of surfing techniques - but still have fun!
After surf, there will be approx. 10min fun time. As well we can bring your child to you at the hotel.

3 children: $32/per child

Teen (+12 years)

A program for children who is already an experienced surfer. 
We will take your child to the line-up and work on the techniques. ​
Surf board is included for the whole day.
